Very true Viv, will be good to see you again, even though under not nice circumstances.

Andy - will work out details with you about what time we need to be at yours to head of to Leamington Spa.

Ok, I am going to try my best to make this as well. I will not add my name as yet as I am unsure but I will know by the end of this week.
I will hook up with the members coming up from the south if I can do this.

Sorted this with work, I am now a definite. Like several others, I plan to wear a suit unless Tim requests otherwise. I have a blurple tie to wear, but will bring a black one with me too in case this is deemed inappropriate.
 
Sadly I will be unable to attend - just impossible to get time away from work just now. I'm sure he'll be given a terrific send off, I'm just sorry that I can't be there.
 
Richb and Manos - you two seem to be the expert photographers, it will be a great to have good pics of our lineup with so many cougars. I don't see how you can video the parade unless you are left behind!!! lol But probably one of you brain surgeons can work that one out.

It will be really good to have that so that people who are unable to attend can see how it all went.

About 20 cars is a great tribute to Chris and shows how much we all appreciated what he has done for the club.
 
A name you won't have seen here before. Yes, I'm Chris's Tim. I got the account yesterday, but having read all the tributes to Chris, I was just unable to post then.

I wanted to comment briefly on dress code for the funeral: we are all different, and will all have our own individual ways of celebrating Chris's life and mourning his passing, so what we wear will reflect that - the fact that we are all, thankfully, different individuals.

Not much more I can say right now, just thanks for all the kind offers of support. The number who plan to attend next Thursday is humbling, though I can't bring myself to write much and acknowledge all the messages of different sorts I have received, I shall draw great comfort from all of those who will be coming next Thursday, and those who can't make it who will be thinking of Chris. Thank You.
 
It's sad that this is your first post on the forum, you have both left a lasting, positive impression with this club, the void that you leave may never be filled.
 
Glad you've joined officially Tim, shame as Rich said that it's under these circumstances.

Can't really add much else that hasn't already been said. Rest assured though we will do our best to make the send off a good one and to show just a small bit of the impact you've both had on this club and it's members.
 
Tim..I am glad you have found the time and resolve to post up.

We hope to show Chris...and you just how important he was to his friends within this club...and show you that we still very much want to be part of your life going forward...as a club...as friends.

I am so glad to see you on here Tim. I echo Si's comment that we still hope that you will be part of our club life, your great friendship was appreciated by us all.

Not a lot i can add to the previous posts Tim, except it's good to see that you have found just how much Chris and yourself mean to this club of ours. The pair of you have a place in a lot of hearts here. Chris is going to be greatly missed. For me, it will be a sad but honourable day, great memories.
