Cougarfest 09

it was cool and for me a chance to chill out and see some excellent cars, very inspired me,didnt know anyone at all but managed to speak to a few people, allen pollard and phil robbo in the end i found out who bobster was, rich b and oh im tryin to remember the rest but i only spoke for a short time,
 
Hi mate, was good to see you, albeit briefly. Very busy affair this fest lark :) Still, there will be many more shows and meets hopefully, so we shall speak again ;)

Just wanted to say thans for the comments too, perked me up a treat ;)

Was a grand weekend out by all and the staff at the place were a lot more friendly than any of the ones at Billing! Couldnt do enough for us compared to just moaning about every little thing.

Thanks to the admin guys who helped organise everything - Im looking foward to next years fest already!

It doesn't matter about the state of your car, mine had bits missing, not washed (to divert attention lol), bits not working etc, it's the people!! ;)
 
Great weekend ... thanks to admin team for organising, thanks to everyone who came, its the people and the crack that make cougarfest what it is.
 
We got home a little after 4.00pm today, last night, for me was an awesome atmosphere, easily the best Saturday night of the 5 Cougarfests that we have attended. Was very hung over this morning after the beer and Rum yesterday.
When I turned up on friday, the weather was bad and as I looked around the place I wondered what we had come to, compared to billing, it was bleak looking. After spending the weekend there, it feels like Grendon should be the new home of cougarfest. Sure, there are a few things need ironing out, the showers at the clubhouse were fine, I thought they were better than the dribbling ones at billing, the new shower block is underway and will be fully operational by next year.
Now the people, thankyou to Jason and Kully for sorting the weekend out, kullys Djing from his motor was an inspired idea , which, combined with the cars parked around with the led's, neons, strobes etc just created a fantastic atmosphere.
Was worried about tony on saturday but luckily it was only an old std that had reared it's ugly head again!!:D:D:D Great to see everybody, long standing members and newer members too. I will have to get busy resizing images from yesterday, didn't take any on friday but managed 170+ yesterday so I will be sticking them on photobucket sometime this week.

Thanks again everybody, we had a ball.:smile5:

No, it got washed by me, what a good husband I can be!! The tent now resides in the skip though, we are getting a new one for next time.

At ze cougarfest, ze seagulls follow ze barlow's tent (cantona esque):D
