I don't get the shower comments, it was a 5 minute walk to the showers which were actually a lot better than the ones at Billing. iirc, the showers at billing are on spring loaded taps and at very best, they dribble the water out. If the new block at Grendon is half as good as the ones in the clubhouse, they will still be better than the ones at Billing.
I can't defend the bogs, they were abysmal, unless you are an insect, but again, that will be sorted for next year.
