ok, to be helpful plenty of rest, stay off your feet put some heat like a water bottle on your knee one bottle one side and another on the opposite side then wrap with a beach towel to keep the heat in, you must get the water as hot as you can stand in the bottles though as it's the heat that will help ease the pain and help the muscles calm down, helps stop them tensing up... do this every evening you should be ok, but if you've injured your knee baddly then i would say seek advice from a doctor dude.
muscles torn can't be repaired solely from heat!!!!
