RIP Chris

Thanks for doing this Tim. It's really good particularly for those who could not attend to understand more about Chris and what his life had been. God bless you Tim, we think of you a lot.

Just found this one, from Harewood 2011.

That photo captures the pride Chris showed in his beloved cat, and it's sad to see that inevitably it now appears in the for sale section. Let's hope it finds a deserving new owner.

Well we have really struck a cord with Chris's un-timely passing, I posted up details of the funeral cortege on the Fast ford forum page and now I've been asked if the same message can be printed in the actual magazine, I just need a decent picture of the cortege to forward to them. Can someone PM me and I can sort this out.

Hi Matt, do you mind if I put your Cougar procession post into the magazine's letters page?

If that's OK, can you send me a pic of the actual convoy to craig.stewart@futurenet.com please?

Cheers,

Craig @ Fast Ford

after reading about chris it gave me an inspire to start doing something with my car, i know a lot of you guys have done amazing things with your rides, but as he was a blurple man,(and so am i) i decided to make an effort. that car he did the modes on has his stamp on it its really cool.

Nice one dude! My tribute will be the central electrics system for all LED's, which Chris made. this will be good for the cat.

Hi guys, Iv just seen the photo's and really wish i could have been there.
Felt sad looking through those pictures and though i would write a poem in respect of Chris's passing:

To our dear Departed Chris who we all miss, we are all still thinking of you so i will say this,

The first time I saw you and the car, I knew that modding for you was on-par,

You astonished us all with your innovation for life, you organised ford fair with very little strife,

The inspiration in your car and club member in you, made most of us think of what we could do,

Only spoke with you once or twice, now i wish i could turn back time and talk more as that would be nice,

You, Dave and Les passing has taught me a fact, that life is too short so enjoy the race track,

The race track of life which propels us to win, even if our chances of completing life seemed to thin,

Rest in peace we will all meet again, theres just no telling where or when,

Our Dear Chris, you will be sorely missed...

RIP Chris..

i have an idea!, i own a mobile studio have facilitys to record and master on 48 track. someone on here has a raw track that i can rebuild from scratch, that way he can be a main part of it. and make a tribute song for chris. lyrics need to be uplifting as i can see from the blog chris was a positve man and enjoyed life so ...a line from each of you that i can juggle then make it into good lyrics, after ive done an outtake (which will take time recording is not an exact science) ill send it and you can hear it, there is one other possibility, if a cougar fest takes place i could bring the truck and get you to sing a chorus part depending on how many of you turn up, i would think you have a generator there of sorts, if all goes well we can sell this cd or make it a download to club member mates and familys friends and give the money to the family or cause of thier choice. ill leave it to the admin dept here to decide the best course of action. feel free to move this post and rename if you wish to start a new blog in order to get things moving if you guys are up for it.
