Funeral arrangements for Chris (Warthog)

I will be dressed respectfully but don't own a suit, my previous ones have had one or two outings and been binned so it's not an practical use of resources to buy another.

Add, I'm checking my work rota, as if I am off I will be attending, you are more than welcome to join me. Not sure whether Rach can make it, so your company would be welcome. Will advise once I have checked my work rota though.

Thanks Andy, was thinking about that myself. Will let you know once I've checked my work rota, hoping to get it off, as really would like to pay my respects to Chris.
 
Ok, have checked rota - I'm off, and Rach says she can make it too. So that's a definite for me and Rach. Add - you are still welcome to come with us too if you wish. Andy - thanks - yes, we'll meet up with you at yours and then follow to Leamington Spa.I'll be suited and booted too - as like others, this is part of how I pay my respects.

Just a thought here guy's..............Would it be a nice gesture if we could all wear something Purple? Wether it's a tie or a hankie, or even a shirt etc? Or just a crossed piece of ribbon?
(Blurple is a funny colour to match)

Nice idea Mike and perhaps a piece of black or purple ribbon tied on the car aerials?
 
Looks like the general concencus is suited and booted, no problems here, and i've got a purple shirt too although Blurple is more idigo/violet in its shade, my shirt is more towards claret. I shall see on the day

I have checked with Cat and she has to work, She can't get out of it, and as she is working down near Plymouth right now there is no way she can get there or back, so with sadness we won't be able to make this.. sorry guys.. :cry:

That sounds great that we can link up at Andy's, that would be fun. All too ften we tend to be on our ownsome from this part of the country - not so many members in this neck of the woods!!

well not only is my suit still in good order, but its a nice sombre colour and the best bit the lining is "blurple" in colour ;)
