A bit late, but super pics everyone!! I especially like the shot from the photographer of my boot!! That angle is awesome!!
I've not been on really since Trax, reason being that my car is really pourly. As those of you that went know, I was going to do the 0-60 runs too, but was being a bit over cautious, and rightly so it seems, as my car has not moved since getting home from Trax. It would appear that the N/S CV joint has collapsed causing some damage to the driveshaft. The O/S CV joint seems to have suffered as a result too from the recoil in the drive train when turning. Ford list the shafts, trade price, at ?ú408 + VAT + Carriage EACH!!!!!!!!!!! I was in two minds as to wether or not to break her and sell her in bits or fix!! The decision was made last week to keep her and fix her, however, I'm gonna play with some other bits too while I've got everything dismantled. So for the near future, the V6 is officially derailed
In the mean time, I have purchased a second car to kick about in, which I shall not mention as it may lead to me being exiled!!!!!!!!!! Those of you that know what it is, do not say anything!!!!!!!!!!! :twisted: :twisted:
I've not logged in, purely as I got depressed seeing everyone else's pics and cars. But I'm on form now, and the V6 is gonna get some TLC and some new toys along the way. :wink: And no I won't say what the toys will be as I've not quite decided. However, for those of you that know what my engine plans were, that may be up for grabs as I can't afford to keep funding that, these repairs, the second car, the mortgage blah blah blah.
Just out of interest, anyone interested ina 6 speed manul gearbox upgrade complete with 3 piece Cosworth spec Clutch, PM me :wink:
