Newbie again

Great news Tony! You have a superb example of a blurple there and one that is instantly recognised by other club members. So pleased it has gone to someone who will give it the care it deserves!

I honestly hope the car gives Tony as much pleasure as it has given me, after five and a half years of ownership its never let me down mechanically, the usual battery replacement and brakes is the sum total of any problems I`ve had, In my honest opinion the Cougar must be one of the best cars made by Ford, I can not fathom why they never carried on with development of newer models.
I don`t get attached to inanament objects such as cars, but selling this one has given me a slight touch of sadness, a lot of that is linked to the fact that the Cougar is the catalyst in having made so many good friends on this forum. Di has had a few tears over it going, says its the only car she has ever enjoyed driving, she says she will miss the luxury of the car, especially the heated seats and the outside temperature guage ... not a mention of any of my modifications :frown5:
I`ll give it a good wash & polish inside & out and put in the new mats before Tony comes for it. (y)

i hope i can look after her as well as you have done, as been said on here you did look after her well, sorry you had to sell but on the other hand, i am glad i was lucky enough to be around at the right time for a change and bought the car, whatever reason you sold for, hope you get what you want and it lives up to your expectations (y)

Congrats on getting your hands on such a nice cat, we're glad she's staying in the club, hope to meet you one day.

Well it shows how much Phil looked after his car the last three posts and many others have all good things to say about the respect they have for Phil and the way he look's after his car's, so i'm going to try and keep up his good work (y)

Give it a good clean inside today and polished engine bling, wash & polish tomorrow, found a spare angel eye & invertor in the garage too.. and stripped the house apart to find the second key.

tony its going to cost you a small fortune to put the car back together after you buy the other bits parcel shelf wheels, and i bet by tomorrow there will be an ad placed for an engine lol

ok whatever ... philistine country :LOL::LOL: our good old pals the romans built a lovely wall across the border and you you vandalising buggers broke it.
