Well you heard it and it was more than loud enough, there is no NEED to have it so big a well designed box, the right shape can produce a lot of volume and air movement without being huge (not taking anything away from Neil's at all it was bloody impressive and impressively heavy) I am going sealed this time but using as much airspace as the ported box that was in the cat before so make of that what you will, there are a lot of guys with a lot of knowledge on talk audio but also they aseem very stuck in there this is how it should be done and these are the subs you should use etc, I don't do conforming very well:dita:

I know the way mate, thats why I run the JL sub I have its only in about a 2' cubic box or something like that (basically I reckon three of them would fit in the boot in the proper box with room for some luggage ) I'm always raving about "old skool" Phoenix Gold* amps and JL w6 woofers (mainly because I don't know any better) but there is some really decent stuff out there, especially them subs your running and the XXX brand! crazy!!*you only have to see how happy Kully is with his M50 to know what i'm talking about
