chrome dish with silver center and spokes.
want to get the silver done black like in the photoshop'd image i did, but still looks a ton better with those god damn fox facing alloys off! haha
I'd guess that you might already know but here goes. You'll have to watch for corrosion if it's going out in the great british weather, I know a few people who have knackered alloys with peeling chrome plate and the manufacturers say the warranty isn't valid in our crap weather.
I had a terrible time with chrome wheels which were triple plated and I used wheel wax on them twice a week to try and protect them they still corroded I would only have chrome wheels to use in the summer if I had a winter set to use and even then I am not a 100% sure I would use some.
i think it will be more polished than chrome but god knows. i had no idea about that haha, but thanks for the heads up! i dont imagine this weather helps really lol.
i would like to get another set for in crap weather and a decent set for summer like rob's done but its more money. after lowering im getting started on the interior then engine, my interior is in such a state its embarrassing!
True but rather that for a few months than ruining nice wheels, also I find it a lot better in the rain/snow with the standard wheels with some give in them although I think guessing your on standard suspension it may not make such a difference in your case.
I haven't updated this in a while so here goes the most recent bits and bobs i have done:
First of all i upgraded my sub to a 15" vibe space!
then i installed some new undercar neons:
The front one is in the bumper because the front end is too low to sit it under the car!
and finally i have colour coded my overhead console and had my pillars and roof liner done in suede
my door cards have come out a bit worse for wear so i have a set i got from a friends breaking cougar which are going in to be re-trimmed in black [handle] and white [the already leather bit] leather.
Once this is finished i plan on picking up a set of cobra bucket seats and a race style steering wheel and getting my rear seats matched to the front bucket seats!
then on to the engine with a complete replacement, engine bay respray and no doubt many many more problems to come across!
