Shame they'll never match the Cat for looks.
try something... I think the seat is somehow connected with the central air heating... so try after your engine is warm to turn maximum temperature and power.. and then see if the seat is getting hot... some times i swear that I feel its just using the hot air to heat up ^^... that would be cool because during summer it would work with the aircon also ..
there is an internal sensor on the dashboard that reads the the temp if its over 12 degrees it cuts power to the thermostat in the heated seats
