Hello, I'm new!

Ah yes I know it. Its got a little motor and circuitry in there hasn't it? I opened it up out of curiosity the other day. How would I tell if its working properly? QUOTE]

well first you could go for a drive and sit in 3rd gear then put you foot down. when you reach 3k to 4k revs you should feel a surge of power.

Or take the cover off and you see the motor keep that pushed down with a screw driver and rev the car hard, if it spins it works.

Woo Hoo, Looks like problem solved. After some great guidance from discodaddy I've blocked off the EGR and there was no sign of acceleration hesitation on my test drive. I really really hope that is this problem put to bed once and for all. Thanks for alll the other help and info too guys. Looking forward to the Castleford meet now so I can nosey at other peoples cats.

Hi i have same problem runs great when giving plenty gas or when i take my foot off the gas, but when you are driving at the speed limit and my foot is just giving very little gas as if my foot is just resting on the accelerator then it bucks back and forward, i replaced the egr valve and the plugs and the leads still having the problem.

The fix for this is in the subscribers "HOW-TO" section. Post up a "hello" in the "New owners" section. You'll get a warm welcome in there. :)
