few years back I done some work for a bloke called Bob Lewis in Newcastle, his reg was LEW1S , that would be a cool one for you, and his wifes reg was L7WIS.
And oddly enough.. or not.. the house is now owned by Shola Ameobi.

Aye, his was a top of the range Merc & hers was a BMW Z3, the pad was worth about half a million then, about 10-11 years ago.
The DVLA now don't allow "I" in the second part of the registration, same as "Q" and also "Z". So those registrations must go back a bit and as Scott has said - must have cost a fortune. They also don't allow numbers, well not on standard plates anyway. I suppose if money is no object they will put a private one together for you, but that would mean shed loads of dosh to buy it.
