No problem mate, be interesting to see what mpg I'll get at that speed. Any ideas what sort of time you'll be around the M4 area?
 
I don't know if this will affect anyones plans but there is a huge agricultural show at Newark on Trent showground today and tomorrow. There have been traffic warning all this morning for hold-ups at the roundabout where the A46 crosses the A1.
 
Unfortunately i won't be able able to attend due to work commitments, tried my hardest with my boss but working for gas suppliers i am out on warrant/debt runs Thursday with my name against them which cannot be changed.

I know you will all do Tim proud on Chris's very premature departure from this life.
 
Just an add-on taken from another thread regarding the exchange of parts. A lot of people are bound to take this opportunity to bring stuff for other members, and as Scunny has already mentioned i'm sure that Chris wouldn't have minded one bit but, I think it goes without saying, just use common sense and dignity if car boots are to be opened. If anybody has parts to move from car to car, please either get it done at the various meet points along the route or wait till after the cars are all parked up at the leapard.
Not really looking forward to this day.

Good point Al. So easy to get all excited about your new 'bits' but it needs to be done at the appropriate time.

You're leaving nice and early so we're going to do the same. If you fancy hooking up at Sandbach services we'll aim to get there just after 11 and we'll head off around 11:15. If you get there around that time and we're not there - don't hang about for us, we'll have either left already (or we're running slightly late hence don't hang about!) (y)

It's going to be a very difficult day, last year Rachel's Nan died on the 19th, on the 20th it's Rachel's 30th, and on the 21st we have a party for her, but it would also have been Chris' birthday, difficult times indeed.
 
Today's going to suck :( see you guys later be nice too see everyone but wish the circumstances were different.

For all you guys meeting at Trowell, worth doing a quick check on highways Agency as they've been working in J19 of the M1 which has caused a few issues as far back as Leicester at peak traffic times. I'm gonna guess that you'll all be coming off at 21, M69 to M6 J2, and then A46?

The A46 bypass through Coventry can be a pig as there are works along there too.
