Drink Driving is wrong!

corruption is not confined to Lithuanian police, I was once travelling on boxing day from Zimbabwe to Botswana, I was stopped at a police roadblock, ie an oil drum in the middle of the road, the officers first words, followed by an open palm thrust in front of me `where is my christmas present ?`

If you also want to see police corruption at a high level then try driving through South East Asia as what they see you as a "rich white man"....:eek6:
Being stopped for money every few miles... :yesnod:

shywaz, i dont think you are on your own with bad experiences of police officers. Some of us are doing our best to repair that reputation.

No offence taken matey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shywaz most certainly is not on his own, and I won't say anymore on it.

Mate, try getting stopped at Customs, in an international airport because you're passport pic was taken some years earlier and looks slightly different. I was 19, my pic was taken when I was 14. The Customs officer asked for me to "cross his palm with 30,000Rs and he'd let me through or I'd go to prison for fraudulently trying to leave the country and evading the Police. During which you may have been shot."

That was New Delhi!! :nonod: :nonod: :nonod: :nonod:

Corruption is rife at the highest levels of society, Politicians, Police, Monarchy, the lot of them, they're all at it. And to cover their tracks, we're losing innocent soldiers in their masses to protect their asses and their ill gotten gains.

I don't condone violonce, intoxication or anything that causes ones self to be untoward. There are those that will disagree, I do drink and have dabbled in things growing up that I no longer care for but none f it alters my belief in right from wrong.

I grew up watching a raging alcoholic cause numerous accidents and then finding ways to get out of it, report the car stolen, burn it outin a field somewhere, drive to a city far away and sell it, change the vehicles ID etc etc.

Kind of made me have the view that I do.

I'll do one now, just the chat in this thread ad the opening pic opened a part of my mind that had been closed many years.
