Chris you will be sorely missed and Tim you have our sincere condolences.
What terrible news. At the moment I can only re-iterate the sentiments already expressed by others but when I've had chance to think of something appropriate to say I'll add it here.

I like everyone else am in total shock, it wasn't that long ago we saw him at the Christmas do, had a good chat with him and Tim round their's whilst waiting for the others to turn up. My deepest sympathy, and condolences go out to Tim, and their familys, if there's anything I can do please don't hestitate to ask.

R.I.P Chris, you were a great bloke, and will be sorely missed.

Shocked to hear such sad news, Chris was at my first cougar meet and always made everyone feel very welcome, such a nice guy.
R.I.P Chris you will be missed.

Oh my goodness.... I can only echo everything that has been written here so far. Chris was a fantastic bloke who I've had the pleasure of knowing for nearly two years. Every event I have attended has been brilliantly organised, slick and great fun. Chris was always there with Tim, welcoming anyone and everyone into the cougar family, always eager to help with advice and tips and just a generally all round top bloke.

Tim, my thoughts are with you at this time and with the rest of Chris' family too.

Rest in peace my friend.

I am absolutely shocked and stunned by this news. Dan (Maximo) was visibly upset when I told him and Jackie was also lost for words when I spoke to her at lunchtime. Due to our family troubles club meetings became a big part of life for me and Dan, and ukcougar.com became our new family in those troubled times. As stated above Chris and Tim took the organisation of the meets to a new level and without them our quality of life would have been less.

Always a fantastic start to any meeting was Tim choreographing the cars whilst Chris made breakfast for all, either in their always immaculate tent or in the club marquee. Chris was everpresent at all of the meets - usually first there, always ensuring the smooth running of the meets, always laughing and joking and, above all, ensuring that everyone felt welcome and part of the gang.

I could go on at length but, to be honest, I am getting too upset thinking that Chris's smiling jovial face will never again be brightening up our lives.

Rest in peace my friend.

I got to know Chris really well at Blackpool, first chance I had to have a proper chat with him and Tim. Thoroughly nice guy, who I would like to class as a friend.
Words escape me.

My thoughts are with Tim at this time and I will be the first to say that he there is absolutely anything I can do, I am only at the end of the phone.

Rip Chris...friend.

Sad sad loss

Chris and Tim put in endless hours to ensure the smooth running of events and other activities of the club. They went out of their way to make everyone welcome particularly newcomers whose first event is always an unknown. Chris will be so missed, as others have said he was still a comparatively young man. Sincere condolences to Tim and the families. RIP Chris, a true friend to many.

Terrible news, such a nice bloke and so young, you only have to read what members have said on here to see what a guy he was-He helped make this club into the family that it it is.
god bless

This is a total shock. Such that it's taken me this long since Kully's text this morning to post on here.

I first met Chris at Ford Fair just after he'd bought his Cougar. I remember our first chat (with Al) where Chris couldn't wait to show off the new sill plates he'd just bought (must have been his first mod). Both me and Al welcomed him to join the forum and the rest is history.
Since then I've seen Chris and Tim at every official event I've attended.
When Chris and Tim took over as events organisers they completely turned things around. Nothing was too much trouble and everything ran like clockwork.
As RichB has said, Chris had a good non-pc sense of humour. A thoroughly decent and kind bloke and a good friend to many in this club including me and Mo.

Our thoughts are with Tim and Chris' family.

It's been an honour to know you Chris, we will really miss you. R.I.P.

Manos & Mo.

Totally Gutted

Can't believe this, Chris was a Great Guy
Met him some years back always said hello and a pleasure to talk to

Thoughts go out to Tim and Family

Am still stunned tbh, but flags definitely flying half mast.........

You'll be missed mate, by a club full of friends.......

RIP Dude, keep on rollin..........

This came as a huge shock to me today, although I've only met him a few times last year, he was such an easy going guy and always had time to chat to me and make me feel welcome in the club, my thoughts are with all of the family, here's to a top bloke!

Only met Chris the one time at the Bath meet last year, great guy to talk to, have to say I'm stunned by this news.
My heartfelt condolences to all his family and especially to Tim. RIP

Absolute tragedy....:(:(

RIP Chris, you dont need anyone telling you what a first rate guy you were. Was a pleasure meeting you. Thoughts with ALL at this very sad time.

Im off to raise a glass or 5 now

I've been thinking about this since I heard the dreadful news, apart from the above comments & sympathies I can only add what I posted on FB as George & I are to shocked at the minute.

"So sad to hear that our great friend Christopher Adams has been taken from us so suddenly, you will be missed by everyone you touched with your friendship.
It is one of the pleasures of my life to have known you. R.I.P buddy.

Our thoughts are with Tim & your family at this very sad time."
