Who is this?

Must be that chap you and I collared between our stand and the paddock mate.
With one of the south wales clubs if memory serves.

Yes, spot on, it is the very same guy. He has 2 or 3 vid's of that day posted up, one of which shows both of you..i.e. Chris and Matt checking out his coug and going for a chat. I only watched this the other week at work whilst I was on nights lol

Ah - the previous year - 2015.

His name is Jonathan Bennett, car reg number V567 SRP. He is local to me. He is into his Ford's and also has got a White Capri as well.

I believe Jonathan had fuel pump issues this year at combe IIRC?

He will be at FF this year I believe as I said I would like to share the track with another cougar :)

I think we should block book a session at one venue and whether you want to race or cruise around, it would be awesome to see us all on the black stuff at one time :)

Excellent idea John. I will want to race, but will probably just end up cruising :)

On the subject of the video - lol at the commentary "ooh, hello brake fade"

Some absolute weapons out on track there - fast on the straights, useless in the corners (pretty much like every diesel toting traffic light GP driver out there). Some interesting racing lines being taken by cars in front

It's a shame we can't organise a "parade" as we did at Snetterton in 2008.

Video courtesy of our Chris and Tim (Warthog) and edited by yours truly, Enjoy:

Great laugh Al, thanks!
How many of those Cougars are still around?
I agree, another parade would be brilliant.......

Surprisingly quite a few wil. I'm in my C1, S97 just ahead of the video car on the right, see the rear infill?
Manos is ahead of me in his C2
Phil Robbo is directly ahead of the video car.
after that i'm struggling to remember who was there.
Btw, Phil's blurple is now owned by Karen and is sporting a ROUSH kit and S97 which i sold on to Scunnycougar was resprayed white and went to a buyer down south iirc.

I loved that. The footage doesn't really do justice to just how fast he's going (110MPH up the home straight at least) so it's not obvious that he is pressing on.

I really want to drive this track - it looks pretty straightforward compared to Oulton Park for example - but I don't want to do it in Tiger. And I won't do it alongside Jeremy Farquhar in his mother's Saxo.

OK, this thread has strayed way off topic. I'm away from home at the minute so only have my mobile but, fair warning to all, when I get back tonight the pruning shears will be coming out.
