I was given a Christmas present to go to Car Chase Heroes, and booked last weekend at Abingdon airfield to drive a Ford GT40. When we got there I think it was the most popular car. I signed in and then had to wait nearly 2hrs to drive it. I got called to the driver area while the previous guy was blasting it round the track. When it came back in they took it away cos the clutch had started slipping 
They said I could either wait while it cooled down to see if it was ok or drive something else. What have got I said…. What would you like they said….. ok….. McLaren 720S ? …… ok they said….
Well, I’m not unaccustomed to speed, done a bit of racing, but this was mind blowing. Paddle shifters gears and automatic clutch so you just point it and hang on for dear life
