I reached a milestone on the way home from work this evening.

71K of those were done by me, 21K of those with the ST200 engine.
Add to that around 120k I did in our old C1, I'm not far off 200K of Cougar driving.

It's also about 12 years to the day that I first clapped eyes on the C2, only to find that it was sold. A few days later the buyer had dropped out and this car was mine.
 
what a nice twist of fate.

i bet the car wouldn't be the same now if that buyer had gone through with it..

100000 miles and still looking like new ,that deserves applause(y)

I think the anniversary was either yesterday or the 4th.
Yesterday she sat at home, in the dry in the garage while I was driving 250 miles in the Mondy, in the wet!

Hopefully, she'll have a fresh MOT on Thursday as that's when she's booked in.
Can't think of a better present than a fresh ticket so fingers crossed.
 
The 12 year anniversary was actually yesterday.

And today she passed the MOT with two advisories - slight play in o/s/f drop link and ball joint.
Strangely, the ball joint was an advisory 3 years ago but disappeared for the last two years (tested at 2 different stations).

The emmissions actually improved on last year....
